The hallmark of the CISCE affiliated VES MODEL CONVENT and its approach to education is the prevalence of different learning styles and the absence of the dreaded, austere and mundane academics. Here it is about giving students a solid ground for life skills, implementing methods approved by several research pilot projects.

VES has transformed the idea of teaching and learning by elevating the act of educating to an art form where a child’s natural talent and capacity is fundamentally understood. We do not believe in a one-size-fits all model which forces them into a typical pre-determined mould and allows children to flower organically. VES teaching philosophy is strongly grounded in child psychology. We strive to reach all students and engage them according to their own capabilities. We base our teaching and interaction purely on educational research with a deep spiritual foundation.

Everyone’s way of grasping and learning is different. We understand individual needs and do not assume that all students will benefit from an identical teaching methodology. Today’s classrooms with the backing of technology have put the ‘chalk and talk’ method away. The way children interpret things, their interests and inclinations are widely different. Some may have an affinity to discourses while others may like to understand critically and need examples to simplify a topic and yet others could want to keep their feelings and experiences to themselves.
