Age criteria

The age criteria for the Montessori classes starts from 2 years and ten months and subsequently follows for other classes.

Admission procedure

Direct admissions are made for students for the Nursery level if students qualify the age criteria.

From Grade I onwards, students are required to write an entrance test and based on the performance of the entrance test, admissions will be granted.

Parents are required to duly fill in the application form and submit all the relevant documents (Birth certificate, TC, previous school's report card if applicable, aadhar card) along with 4 passport size photographs of the students.

PROMOTION RULES

For promotion, the performance of the students in all the continuous and comprehensive evaluations of the year, rather than performance in the final evaluation alone, is considered. This is particularly applicable to those who have not taken the final examination on health grounds. Promotion to the next standard will be determined on the basis of the marks obtained during the current standard.

No re-test or re-exam will be given to a student who absents himself/herself from a test. However, average marks will be awarded in cases with genuine reasons for absence.

Results declared at the end of the year are final in all the cases and will not be re-considered.

WITHDRAWAL

Intimation of withdrawal of a student from the school should be given in the prescribed form to the Principal, at least one month in advance and request for TC should be made by 1st of April. TC on withdrawal will be issued only when all the dues to the school have been cleared. All fees up to and including the month in which the TC has been requested for, shall be payable.

METHOD & CURRICULUM OF STUDIES

The school offers life-based education that leads to holistic development of the students. Education here is learner-centered, activity-oriented and incorporates the project method to encourage creativity.

Medium of instruction

English is the medium of instruction in all classes, for all subjects except for language classes - Hindi and Kannada.

Nursery

The Nursery division offers a stimulating and caring atmosphere. It emphasizes on experiential learning through activity based teaching to develop cognitive skills. Academics and play are inter woven to help students explore their curiosity and make every day a learning experience to students.

Primary and Middle

The Primary program continues to develop skills essential for learning such as the development of thinking, communication, research and self-management. The teachers foster an atmosphere that is personalized and child centered. The project based learning in the primary school inculcates a spirit of enquiry that sets children on the path of self learning.

The curriculum engages students in critical thinking, problem solving and for developing independent opinion that caters to different learning styles. There is a continuous comprehensive system of evaluation of activities and projects in academic learning.

High School

The high school curriculum supports students identify their potential as they prepare to enter the world of work and responsibility. The curriculum is designed to appreciate and acknowledge students for their creativity, research skills and they grow to be discerning young adults with values and principles that contribute to their growth and the environment. In the process of learning and self motivation, the students evolve as astute young adults.
